Changing Your Email Address
Keeping your email address updated ensures you receive important notifications and enhances the security of your Sociera account. Follow these steps to update your email successfully.
1. Accessing Email Settings
Launch the Sociera App: Tap the Sociera icon on your device to open the app.
Navigate to Settings: Tap your Profile Picture in the bottom navigation bar, then select Settings.
Go to Account Settings: Scroll to the Email Address option.
2. Updating Your Email Address
Enter a New Email: Tap on the email field and type your new email address.
Save Changes: Tap Save to proceed.
3. Verifying Your New Email
Check Your Inbox: A verification email will be sent to your new email address.
Confirm Your Email: Open the email and click on the verification link to confirm the update.
4. Completing the Update
Return to Sociera: Once your email is verified, your account will automatically update with the new email address.
Future Logins: You will need to use the new email address for future logins.
Tips for a Smooth Email Update Process
Use an Active Email: Ensure the email you enter is one you regularly check to receive account updates.
Check Spam or Junk Folders: If you don’t receive the verification email, check these folders.
No Immediate Logouts: Updating your email won’t log you out, but you must use the new email for future logins.
