Blocking and Unblocking Users
You can control who interacts with you on Sociera by blocking or unblocking users.
1. Accessing Blocked Accounts
To manage your blocked users:
Open the Sociera app.
Tap your profile icon in the bottom-right corner.
Go to Settings > Blocked Accounts.
2. Blocking a User
To block a user:
Navigate to the user's profile.
Tap the More Options (⋮) button.
Select Block User and confirm your action.
Once blocked, the user will no longer be able to view your profile, send messages, or interact with your content.
3. Unblocking a User
To unblock a user:
Go to Settings > Blocked Accounts.
Find the user you want to unblock.
Tap Unblock next to their name.
Once unblocked, the user will regain the ability to view your profile and interact with you.
Tips for Managing Blocked Users
Use blocking for unwanted interactions – If someone is harassing or bothering you, blocking prevents further contact.
Review your blocked list periodically – You may want to unblock users over time.
Blocking is mutual – Neither you nor the blocked user can view each other’s profiles or messages.
Unblocking does not restore past interactions – If you unblock a user, they won’t automatically be re-added to your connections.
