Blocking and Unblocking Users

You can control who interacts with you on Sociera by blocking or unblocking users.

1. Accessing Blocked Accounts

To manage your blocked users:

  • Open the Sociera app.

  • Tap your profile icon in the bottom-right corner.

  • Go to Settings > Blocked Accounts.

2. Blocking a User

To block a user:

  • Navigate to the user's profile.

  • Tap the More Options (⋮) button.

  • Select Block User and confirm your action.

Once blocked, the user will no longer be able to view your profile, send messages, or interact with your content.

3. Unblocking a User

To unblock a user:

  • Go to Settings > Blocked Accounts.

  • Find the user you want to unblock.

  • Tap Unblock next to their name.

Once unblocked, the user will regain the ability to view your profile and interact with you.

Tips for Managing Blocked Users

  • Use blocking for unwanted interactions – If someone is harassing or bothering you, blocking prevents further contact.

  • Review your blocked list periodically – You may want to unblock users over time.

  • Blocking is mutual – Neither you nor the blocked user can view each other’s profiles or messages.

  • Unblocking does not restore past interactions – If you unblock a user, they won’t automatically be re-added to your connections.
